While some breweries are already in the midst of their outdoor beer garden season, Ned Devine’s and Samuel Adams are teaming up to debut a beer garden indoors.
Ned’s Beer Garden by Sam Adams will pop up inside Quincy Market at Faneuil Hall sometime this month, using Ned Devine’s 4,000-square-foot hall space to offer a beer garden experience on Fridays and Saturdays from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. (an official opening date will be announced in the near future). Formerly a nightlife venue that hosted cover bands and other entertainment, the hall will now feature socially-distanced picnic tables, a HD projection screen, and a menu that lists craft beer, hard seltzer, baked pretzels, and other comfort foods. Groups can order beer towers filled with either beer or Truly Hard Seltzer cocktails, to be shared on recycled beer barrel tables under string lights.
“We know beer gardens have been super popular through the summer and rightfully so,” said Hannah Huke, Ned Devine’s marketing director, in a press release. “They have a fun and relaxing atmosphere with great food and beverage offerings. We’re looking forward to bringing that same safe environment inside with socially-distanced tables, air circulation, and our continued high safety standards including minimal staffing, temperature checks, and diligent mask wearing. We can’t wait to provide a unique dining pop-up until we can resume our live music programming safely. In the meantime, it’s still the Ned’s we all know and love.”
Ned Devine’s will still offer both indoor and outdoor seating, with the latter featuring tents and blankets. The Samuel Adams Boston taproom recently reopened after closing its rooftop patio due to “out of state visitors;” the taproom now offers patio seating and to-go pickup.
Once Ned’s Beer Garden by Sam Adams opens, guests will be able to make reservations at neddevinesboston.com, with tables limited to six guests.
Stay tuned for an official opening date.
